Great place for a walk, either with or without a dog! Lovely pond, with plenty of ducks 🦆 a nice, reasonably priced café for a cuppa at the end.

Nice clean park for a walk with the dog or kids especially in the autumn as it's full of colour. Free parking for about fifty cars. Play area's for the kid's. Park benches dotted around the park if you just want to sit out in the fresh air watching the world go by. Will definitely return to explore more of the park when time allows. Highly recommended venue. Still FREE parking, but for how long is anybody's guess.

Barnes Park is accessible, well maintained, and full of wildlife. You may see rabbits, fish, squirrels, foxes, parakeets, birds of all kinds, and the odd sighting of a terrapin in the pond. There is a small cafe with indoor and outdoor seating which serves basic food, ice cream, hot and cold drinks. There is both an infants and older children park which are separate from one another. Toilets are basic but baby change and disabled toilets are also available. There is plenty of seating around the park including some picnic benches. The longest is route takes around 15-20 minutes, but if you’re feeling like more of a walk there are extensions at both sides of the park which are considerably quieter. The park is very dog friendly and you’re likely to see lots of them whenever you visit.

An amazing place, deserves more social activities other than grass-crushing funfairs and fireworks.

Enjoyed the walk. Didn't see any unpicked up dog poo, yet lots of dog walkers. Enjoyed a coffee. Bit cold, but we'll put that down to the time of year. Coffee shop staff were lovely.

I had to wait here for my lift after delivering letters to nearby residents. The park is lovely, hilly and picturesque, with trees, flat spaces, plenty seating, cafe, toilets and playground. Very popular with local people - it was really busy when l was there on a bright, warm day.
